Hey Family!
That's sweet that the Utes are going to get a good seed in the tourney! Hopefully they'll do well! Glad to hear that things are going pretty well at home.
This week was a pretty good one for us. We were able to teach a couple of our investigators, one of them was Reyna. Idk if I've told you guys about her but she was referred to us by a member who has a son who is dating her. Their names are the Pyeatts. We taught Reyna a couple weeks ago about the Restoration and she had a couple questions about the Book of Mormon, but we invited her to baptism and she said that when she knows it's true then she will be baptized. So this week we taught her the Plan of Salvation and it was a pretty good lesson but she was a little confused at the end. She was raised Catholic so a lot of it was really different than what she knew. Usually the doctrine of the Plan of Salvation is really a good thing for people who are catholic and they accept it really well, but she was kinda confused. She said that she wants to study more about it, so we told her to study the pamphlet and as she does to write down all of the questions that she has so we can come next time and answer all of them for her. And it didn't help that Sister Pyeatt brought up some deep doctrine in the lesson too... But we are excited to keep teaching her and to resolve her concerns and questions!
So cuba is like 1 1/2 hours north of Rio Rancho, so that's how long we have to drive every time we go out there to teach. But we actually just barely got another referral for someone else out there to teach so it looks like we might be making a couple trips!
On Thursday this week I hit my 18 month mark which means that I've served a sister mission. It's so crazy how fast time keeps going! These last couple months are going to be legendary, and Elder Olsen and I are going to work our tails off! I am excited for what's in store in the final stretch! I love and miss you all, and hope everything is going well! Talk to you all later!
