Hey Family!
I heard the Panthers smoked the Seahawks and are moving up in the playoffs!! They’re going to take it all!
This week was pretty sweet! We were able to teach Stephanie a couple times, and she is super solid! She says that she wants to be baptized, and we are meeting with her on Wednesday so we are hoping to set a baptismal date for her! She loves learning about the Gospel and she says that it has already brought so much happiness into her life, and she can feel God’s love for her so much more every day! We are super excited for her!
Tomorrow is Anthony’s baptism so we’re pumped for that too! He is going to be a kingdom builder! He wants to serve a mission as soon as possible, and he will be a great missionary! I’ll take lots of pics and let you guys know how it goes! Robert has kinda stopped progressing and we are thinking we’re probably going to have to stop teaching him. Last time we went over Rosemary sat in on the lesson and she just tried to bash with us the whole time on dumb points about what we believe. Robert kinda just sat there and was super bugged about it and we kindly confounded Rosemary on all of the things that she brought up haha. But then we invited Robert to come to church and he said that he would be there and he wasn’t there, which is what happens every week so next time we go over there we are just going to emphasize our purpose and help him understand that we can’t keep coming over if he’s not going to do anything.
We deep cleaned mouse lady’s garage this week with the priests in our ward… We moved out all of the boxes, swept out all of the bird seed, and put them all back neatly. In that process we found the nest which was nasty! It had a bunch of black hair and white fuzz and thread and mouse duke and stuff, and it was huge so we got rid of that too, and then set all of the traps! It was a really good time. Then after that we went over yesterday to check and see if they had caught anything and there was nothing in the traps, so either we got rid of them or we just didn’t catch any of them! Hopefully we got rid of them for good!
Also today I was able to go through the temple with Randy for his endowments!! It was the most amazing experience in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Randy is going to continue to be a kingdom builder and I love him so much! It is crazy how much joy it brings to see someone that you taught the Gospel receive saving ordinances and feel the joy that you feel from the Gospel! I love being a missionary so much!
Anyways, I love all of you and miss you! Hope all is well. Talk to you later!

Hey Family!

Sounds like everything is going well with you guys, just getting back into the swing of things after the holidays! Mom I am also trying to eat healthier and exercise to get rid of my quadruple chin!

This week was pretty good for us! We had a couple investigators who weren't able to meet with us and some other ones who don't really want to meet with us anymore, which kinda stunk but that's alright! We had a couple lessons with Robert that went really well! We throw down on him every time we go over there because he always makes commitments that we leave with him but he never keeps them! So we go over there and just destroy him with the Spirit, but he is still kinda lazy so we are working on getting him to do things on his own! He loves it when we come over and he knows everything that we teach is true he's just gotta do it!

We have set some sweet goals this week and we are working on finding new investigators! We found a new one yesterday whose name is Stephanie. She is the sister of a recent convert in our stake. She is a YSA and she is super solid! She wants to get her life back together and she said she is struggling with some things and she knows that we can help! She wants to get baptized, and so we are meeting with her on Wednesday and hopefully we will be able to set up a baptism for her!

Yes we are still helping the lady with the mice, we caught 4 of them last week. And it's too late I already have rabies...:/ We have been sick for like a week... haha just kidding we are being careful! Anyways, I love and miss you all and hope everything is going well! Talk to you later!

Hi Family,
Happy New Years!! Wow I can’t believe it’s already a new year! My calendar year on my mission is over… man that’s nuts! That's awesome that you guys went to Mueller Park to sled! Grandma Deb sent me some pics and it looked sweet! Sounds like New Years was good too! Ours was pretty good. It was a pretty normal day! We only had two dinners this time so we didn't explode!
This week was pretty sweet! We had a zone conference this past Monday where President Miller and the Assistants talked about changing the culture of the mission. I have heard there is going to be some big changes in our mission, not just from President Miller but from the First Presidency! I am excited to see what will happen! I went on two exchanges this week. The first one was with Elder Carruth who is a district leader in our zone. I went into his area and it was really fun! We did a lot of knocking on doors. For some reason every single door I have knocked on this week has slammed it before I could get more than like 5 words out haha! It’s been a good time! The day after exchanges with Elder Carruth we went on exchanges with the Assistants and I got to go with Elder Harral! It was sweet to be with my trainer again! We talked about old memories and good times we have had, and part of the area that they cover, since they are in a YSA, is Cherry Hills! I got to be in my old area with my trainer, and it really made me reflect on the mission and how fast it is going! I’m so grateful to be able to be serving right now!
We also found a new investigator this week! Her name is Kyra and she was referred to us by a member family named the Moss’s. Kyra has been friends with a girl in the Moss family for a while and they have been wanting to invite her to take the lessons for a while now and they had a really strong prompting that they need to do it now so they did and she said yes! He is really looking for the truth and she loves what we teach. We have taught her two lessons now and on the first one we invited her to baptism and she said that she would be baptized when she feels that it’s true! So this week we are hoping to be able to set a baptism date with her! She came to church though so she is really solid! We set a baptism date with another one of our investigators idk if I’ve talked about him but his name is Anthony. He was also referred to us by a member who is dating him. He has been taking the lessons for a little while now and he loves it and actually wants to serve a mission! So this week we asked him what he thought about baptism and he said that he wants to do it as close to the new year as possible! We were pumped so we asked him what date he wants and he said either the 18th or the 20thof January, depending on if we have a meeting on the 20th or not! We are super excited for him and he is awesome!
Other than that, we’re still catching mice, knocking on doors, and loving life! I love my mission and it is the best thing that anyone can ever do in their life! I’m grateful to go out every day and teach people with the power and authority of God! I love and miss you guys and hope everything is going well! Stay safe! Talk to you later!
